AstroGenie believes in treating every seeker with fairness and respect. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for our digital astrology reading service.

1. Nature of the Service

AstroGenie provides digital, personalized astrology readings that are:

  • Uniquely generated for each individual customer based on their birth details
  • Delivered instantly (typically within 60 seconds of successful payment)
  • Non-reusable — each reading is crafted for one person
  • Digital in nature — no physical product is shipped
Because each reading is generated uniquely and delivered immediately upon payment, AstroGenie generally does not offer refunds once the reading has been successfully generated and delivered.

2. When Refunds May Be Granted

We will issue a full refund in the following situations:

2.1 Technical Failure

If you were charged but your reading was not generated or delivered due to a technical issue on our end — and we are unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours — you are entitled to a full refund.

2.2 Duplicate Payment

If you were accidentally charged more than once for the same reading, we will refund the duplicate charge(s) within 5–7 business days of verification.

2.3 Unauthorized Transaction

If you can provide evidence that a payment was made without your authorization (e.g., fraudulent use of your card or UPI), we will cooperate with your bank and Instamojo to resolve the matter. Report unauthorized transactions within 7 days for fastest resolution.

3. When Refunds Are Not Granted

We cannot issue refunds in the following cases:

  • The reading was successfully generated and delivered to you
  • You are dissatisfied with the content or predictions of the reading (readings are subjective and for personal reflection)
  • You provided incorrect birth details that affected the accuracy of the reading
  • You changed your mind after the reading was delivered
  • More than 7 days have passed since the transaction (for disputes other than unauthorized transactions)
  • You violated our Terms of Service

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email support@astrogenie.in with:

  • Your full name (as used during the reading)
  • The email address used for the payment
  • The Instamojo transaction/payment ID
  • The date of the transaction
  • A clear explanation of the issue

We will review your request and respond within 48 business hours.

5. Refund Processing Time

If your refund is approved:

  • The refund will be initiated through Instamojo within 5–7 business days of approval
  • The amount will be credited back to your original payment method
  • Depending on your bank/card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

6. Cancellation Policy

Because readings are generated instantly upon successful payment, there is no "pending" period during which an order can be cancelled. Once the payment is successful, the reading is generated immediately.

If you decide not to proceed before completing payment at Instamojo, simply close the checkout window — no charge will be made.

7. Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us at support@astrogenie.in before initiating a chargeback with their bank. We aim to resolve all issues amicably and quickly. Unjustified chargebacks may result in the suspension of future service.
