Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AstroGenie ("we") handles personal data when you use astrogenie.in. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Details you give us for a report: name, gender, date, time and place of birth (for matching reports, for two people), report language, email address and mobile number.
- Payment information: handled by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference and status, never your card, UPI or bank details.
- Technical data: IP address and basic logs for security and fraud prevention, and, if you accept cookies, Meta Pixel events used to measure our advertising.
Why we use it
- To calculate your chart, prepare your report and deliver it to you.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds.
- To keep the service secure and meet legal obligations.
- With your consent, to contact you about your order on WhatsApp or by email.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service, under confidentiality: Razorpay (payments), our hosting and email providers, and a writing service used to prepare report text. Birth details sent for writing are not used to identify you.
How long we keep it
Order details and reports are kept for up to 24 months so you can download your report again and we can handle questions, and then anonymised automatically. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@astrogenie.in. We reply within 30 days.
